1 cupuncooked white rice(or roughly 3 cups of cooked rice)
1Tbspolive oil
1Tbspbutter
250gfresh shiitake mushrooms(diced)
1/2tspflower of salt (or sea salt)
1Tbspsoy sauce
6 Tbspchopped fresh chives
Instructions
Prepare the rice (skip this step if you already cooked white rice in a rice cooker)
In a small pot, rince the rice, changing the water at least once. Then, using the same measuring cup, add 2 cups of water to your rice and bring to a boil.
Once it starts bubbling gently, turn the heat down to low and cover with a lid. Leave for 10 to 13 minutes or until all the water has been absorbed (you can gently tilt the pot to check).
Remove from heat and keep covered for another 10 minutes. Then remove the lid and fluff up the rice with a fork or a silicone spoon.
